How do I find my past private messages I can't seem to locate the private messages I sent or received ?

click on the envelope at top of page, then show all

edit: for some reason they are now called conversations instead of private messages/direct messages like you are actually talking to the person. Talking is a conversation, to type something in non real time is not a chat or a conversation IMO
