I am using a 10S lipo pack (20C hobbyking type) consisting of two 5s 5000mah in series. works great in my 250W front wheel mountain bike.
My wife's bike (also front wheel 250W) uses a li-ion 36V 4.5A (from here - http://www.freedomebikes.com/Online-Store.html ), also works well. these have an internal BMS circuit but cost about 300$ a pack from a local dealer.
I like the Hobbyking pack but for my wife I need a more friendly pack with a BMS circuit. anyone knows where I can find such a pack for a reasonable price ?
BTW, we really like these low capacity packs for their low weight and high portability, suits our needs.
