Pulse jet powered bike

I just love this. Colin Furze is a plumber by trade. He built a pulse jet using just an angle grinder and duct tape. Then he built a bigger pulse jet. Then he attached it to an old bike. He starts it with a leaf blower, ignites it with a blowtorch. Then he rode it at 50 mph. No helmet. Brilliant.

I like his video title "The JET Bicycle - The most dangerous unsafe bike EVER" ...looks to be pretty close...then they go and ride with no gear while it shakes to pieces beneath them

You can see some of the other insane things he's done on youtube. My favourite was when he found that his biscuits were too big to be dunked in his teacup, so the used a lathe to make them smaller.

Jet powered bicycles are nothing new though, Jeremy Clarkson did a piece on one 100 years ago on ye olde topgear
