All my lipo packs went bad

Got to get a new battery pack.

There were discussions about ∆/Y switching and why it is not for every motor for few years now. I have also tested it like 6 years back and it rarely works. I don't see it as a solution, unless you are fine with motor heating.
Or can anyone confirm that MXUS runs in ∆ just as good? I mean is there data and comparison of no-load current at 50% speed?
