SolarBike- How to get power from spinning solarcells

just discovered an ebike where solar cells are mounted inside the rim. But I wonder how they get the electricity out of the spinning solar cell.. brushes, transformer?

The cells will crack quickly and the bike itself is very dangerous to ride in windy weather.

Take a ride down solar roadway on the solar powered bike drinking from a solar water bottle pulling water from thin air.

How is there a lot of products these days hitting market that have not gone through proper testing or in some circumstances just don't work, Kickstarter ?

I used to have a kids bike with covers over the wheels real fast on a still day, but when the wind pics up its pushes a light person all over the road, and like mentioned wheels are constantly impacting the road anything but in a velodrome won't work.
