Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Oh nice, a new version of speedict?

What will be improved? Better surge protection? higher voltage capability (that would really compet with the CA as it's for now the only one able to go over 80V)? Power switch ability? (that would be great too, I'm sick of unplugging my connectors lol).

There's so much that can be done on this little device to simplify the e-biker life :)

will disclose more later :D

I have a feeling it will drop with the controller he's been working on as a package combo. Hopefully.

I'm excited and I'm NOT exactly sure why

Really like the product, I only have one problem with it. Is there anyway to show the "live view" in landscape mode? I've looked through the users manual and searched the forum without any luck. Thanks.

I don't think there is a way. But I'm sure Danny will handle that for ya

yes we have landscape mode, just don't have time to launch it together with user guide update :(
let see if we can launch it today or tomorrow ...

Are there any 64bit windows drivers? I didn't see any on the website.

yes we have 64 bit windows driver but not for windows 7 platform since win7 (64 bit) need digital sign.

we are moving toward cloud approach and now we ready have :

1. web based PC suite, the PC suite itself is 100% pure written by java script, it is ready to cross platform, as the cloud service is ready for a year (http://chart.speedict.com/?weblogid=ccE381001113811).

2. synchronize data between android device and speedict ebike is ready - firmware 2.0 onward you can download speedict ebike's data to android device for offline view.

3. upload data from android to us - firmware 2.3 onward you can upload the port status to us for debug purpose.

4. remote firmware upgrade - with firmware 2.3 onward, speedict ebike can be firmware upgrade directly without pc e.g. you can check firmware version and download latest firmware from our server to android and then upgrade to speedict ebike

from above 4 points, as you can see, when strengthen point 3 to allow upload logs / records as well, you don't need PC USB driver :p

we hope (we are no rush on it) later our customers can view their logs / charts on anywhere, anytime, any platform e.g. big flat tv with internet browser or android powered :p

by the way this is the 64 bit driver, you still can install it on windows 7 but need some tricks, i know someone from this forum has done this ...

Thanks! Moving to a cloud based service make a lot of sense. Keep up the good work!

thanks !

now ready to upload your logs to our cloud service ...

Hi i think i do somting wrong. Maybe someone can tell me what i do wrong.

I connect the controller to port 3, throttle to port 4, temp sensor to port 2 and speedsensor to port 1.

The software in Throttle Mode. When i twist the throttle the wheel don't spin.
I see in the port the throttle work. Valu changes from 185 to 490 when twist.

The wheel is ok when i have to set the low and high value for throttle in the speedict the wheel spins nice.

*edit
The speedsensor dont work also in Throttle Mode. In Multi Sense Mode the speedsensor works fine.

do you have the throttle cable from us ?

No, I make them. It is only a cable with connecors? Or are there some components in the cable?

Other thing i dont understand. The speedsensor works in Multi Sensor mode. But dont work in Throttle mode.

the throttle cable is not plain connector, it has circuit board inside !
speed sensor work on port 1 only on all mode, don't mix up with port 3 with pas signal ...

Ok clear, i will order the throttle cable.

I use the speed sensor only at port 1 an it dont work at the throttle mode. It work ok in the sensor mode.
Maybe it is solved when i use the rigt throttle cables. Or do i blew the speedict with connect the throtlle direct?

I use this:

to check port 1, 3 and 4, you can switch to multi-sense mode, and connect speed sensor to port 1, temperature to port 3 and port 4, see if you can get data, and if you want to check port 3 you can switch to either PAS, PAS to Throttle, Road Legal 1 or Road Legal 2 mode, because it work without need any special cable, let me know if you can't get data correctly, then you can send your port status diagnostic file to us for inspection.

The ebike user guide say for multi sens mode port 1 speedsensor port 2,3 Temp sensor. Port 4 not connect. You say port 3 and 4 for temp sensor Is it save to connect speedsensor to port 4 or port 2?

I check the port 1 speedsenor is OK in multi sens mode

sorry ! i think there were some typo of user guide (forgot the revision number) ....

port 1 for speed sensor (on all mode), port 2 and 4 for temperature sensor (for multi-sense mode), port 3 for pas sensor (pas to throttle, road legal mode)
