starter solenoid (battery switch)

I'd assume it has a constant current draw while in operation, but it doesn't list the value. I'd also assume its higher than you'd like, but wouldn't matter in its intended use as a starter relay (momentary).

i dont see this being a problem unless u meant it could warm up and fail when in operation? however im more worried about welding/pitting the contacts shut cause the high voltage :?
 
the higher voltage shouldn't matter unless you switch while pulling a load, you might get some arcing because of the caps charging tho.
Old Fords used to have a remote solenoid switch, a little overkill for this application but probably wouldn't fail
