Hi,
Maybe someone could help me to understand where is the controller in this nice looking BH EASYGO RACE bike? Is it possible that it is intergrated in the hub motor (so small!)? or maybe in the frame (so compact!)? any brand idea?

My idea is to see if I could take this bike and overvolt it by replacing the 36v battery pack by a 52 pack like this one:

If not possible I woul like to do my own bike inspired by the design, minimalist without any outside controller, any idea?

Thanks

Controller is in that box with a tiny battery.

You could possibly but why?

Yes build your own, how? Use the search function

Thanks for your answer

Well the reason why I want to overvolt it is that I tried this model a while ago but it was too slow took much time to reach 25km/h and with a little hill I was down to 15km/h.
Any idea of the motor they are using? (to check the spec and see if that would be compatible with 48v)

Motor controller is in down tube, undo 2 screws under down tube to remove it, it looks like this: https://www.electricspokes.com/products/bh-easy-motion-36v-controller-for-the-easygo-race
There are 2 power wires and a thin yellow signal wire going from the battery management system in the battery box to the motor controller, I tried to replace the battery with a standard Chinese 36 volt 10 Ah battery which only has 2 power wires and it did not work?
