What was your FAIL moment?

My worse fail moment was when I accidentally shortened vesc and 10S battery. Battery ground was still connected to VESC when i was doing some repairs on it. Fail moment happened when positive battery connector slipped and touched housing of usb port on vesc immediately vaporizing usb's metal shell (usb shell is connected to ground). It also burned one via and since pcb is 4 sided there was nothing I could do but ditch vesc and solder another one.


So what was your fail moment? Was it when you were riding or was it when you were building? Share your story!

around 35km/h, accelerating when climbing a 8% hill... with my nunchuck wii receiver... got a signal loss (I think as I never had it when I moved to GT2B). wheels break.. superman. 1 month with a huge pain and blood behind my skin in many areas. Hopefully nothing was broken.

I think we can call that a fail !

Riding with Pediglide and mccloed a couple of months ago I fell and Tore my MCL and PCL ligaments in my knee. Looks like my MCL may heal well enough on its own, but my PCL which is more crucial for stability is torn beyond healing or repair...So, at some point soon I will be having a replacement surgery which involves a dead body or a pig


For now, I walk like I'm Straight outta Compton and have to wear a hinged brace like Forrest Gump :lol:

I think I over accelerated once when I wasn't paying attention and landed on my hand to catch myself. Think my wrist was sore for about 4 weeks. I use to not wear a helmet for the first 4-6 months riding. Thank god nothing happened now I don't ride 2 feet without my helmet.
