Xtreme ebike 24v 300 watt rear hub w pas system.

So I have a extreme e-bike 24 volt 300 w rear hub motor with pedal assist and throttle but the pedal assist is broken and I believe I fried the whole control box I just couldn't get the motor to engage and tried wiring it differently until it was smoking. I also have a M5 commuter scooter that also had a 300 watt motor 36 volt though and I have a 36 volt battery pack I would like to eliminate all the other features of the e-bike except the throttle on the rear hub motor or I suppose I could even change it to a front hub motor and run it with the control box off the scooter which is model TD 1 0 0 2 - v 1.3 can anyone help

That is the control box off like to use. I only need throttle to engage motor.. That's it!!
