Built this out of scrap and spare parts
Tubing -mates trampoline
Rear motor, dead mac repaired built into 20" rim from tipshop (had to buy spokes)
Battery:13s 10ah salvaged from a damaged ebike
Controller generic 350w NOS from person who never collected.
Rest is old mtb stuff hanging around.
It's pretty rough if you look closely but I wasn't sure if it would really work and be rideable, so I wasnt too careful with the design. Eyeballed everything.
Turns out it's a ripper! My 9yo LOVES it! It's his first taste of an ev so he's pretty excited. Itching to commute to school on it.
I might build a proper version one day and build a battery into the deck rather than slapped on the down tube.
Does about 40kph fresh otc, and will drive me up a reasonable hill. Controller barely warms after thrashing so I'll mod the shunt for a little more grunt.
