16S 320A ANT BMS balancing question

Hi everybody,

i am currently designing and building a litte 2meter long 4x4 transport car thingy with 2 friends:

We have currently finished the battery pack, it is a 16s 100Ah LiFePo4 Pack with a 320A ANT BMS,
like this gentleman tested and liked here:

however it does not seem to balance while charging,
despite "start balancing" at 3.1V and "start balancing voltage diff" at 0.002V

any ideas ?

My ant bms starts balancing when the current goes under 10A I think, but you can try to lower it a bit more and see if something happens.

our charger charges with 9.something volts in the lower of his 2 settings..

...so theoretically it should balance?

My bms is not the same model, and I use li ion so not the same voltage levels.
Does it balance at all? Like close to end of charge when the current drops maybe?

havent checked that yet, as the rest of the car wont be finished that soon and i didnt wanna store the battery fully charged for long... (because lifepo4)

You can start balancing manual.
I balanced my "used" 21S100Ah pack after assembling over four days without a charger attached to the battery.
My ANT started balancing only under 11A.

You would need an active balancer to achieve balance overnight.

If I recall, the balance limit on an ANT BMS is 200mA, assuming your board was well built.
