Yes, that will work fine. The opto ground/- connection goes to the black controller brake wire and the yellow would go to the opto + connection. -- Gary

seems like they are trying to fix some difficult bugs in their close to final design. until they fix them and have a run of the boards that are defect free i dont think they know. their are a lot of us on this board that have projects that need this yesterday.

make sure you dont have any pool chemicals like cholorine or acid or fertilizer. these combine with the humidity and cause corrosion on everything. I too live in South Florida.

so im clear. i connect these BMS boards to the balance taps coming from my LVC boards. I connect one side of the BMS to my power supply and the output of the BMS to the battery pack
