    Show me your electric velomobile.

And mine... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qA2akGa_qEg Agilo vélomobile built from plan, BBS01B with 44v battery (2 x 6S6P) and modified 500C LCD to accept the extra voltage. Of course EU legal with cut off at 25 km/h, top speed so far in excess of 72 km/h and it holds 35-40 km/h on the flat...

    BBS01B 36V 250W - trying with higher voltage [success]

A short update: - the motor is reprogrammed and finally provides some assistance! - it still runs cool because now that I can spin at 90 RPM I am helping the motor a lot more. I am not sure that it even needs a fan for cooling - the motor only runs for climbing or very short start up periods, I...

    BBS01B - pushing the limits

Can you point me to instructions for wiring in a phaserunner to the BBS01B please? Mine is running fine with a 44v battery mod but I have some trailer pulling long distance camping plans and 800-1000W could come in handy on some hills.

Wondering about potential of plywood velomobile

You could just buy plans... https://www.velomobilforum.de/forum/index.php?attachments/new-look-jpg.265867/ This is my Agilo, #1 on the road and now there are 3-4 of us. https://www.sitko-velo.de/log-in/ I am still refining things but have peaked at 72.7 km/h downhill and it drives 30-35 km/h...

    BBS01B 36V 250W - trying with higher voltage [success]

This is the cable coming from the 500C LCD. I just split the sheath near the plug end and spliced in the diode, it is inside a vélomobile so protected from the elements. Here is the photo and description...

    BBS01B 36V 250W - trying with higher voltage [success]

I fully opened in the daylight... (edited image from this post https://electricbike.com/forum/forum/builds/new-builder-questions/77804-wiring-issue-for-a-bafang) P+ is brown. I will now cut and solder. EDIT: And victory!!!! The 500C shows 40.5v and my watt meter shows 46.9v

    BBS01B 36V 250W - trying with higher voltage [success]

So I cut open the black shield of the LCD wire and hello! The colourblind Chinese user manual writer has struck again! I have Red, so far so good White Black, I guess we can trust that to be universal Green Brown The connector shown in the user manual is not a Julet connector but a JST...

    BBS01B 36V 250W - trying with higher voltage [success]

Yeah I was thinking about that after I wrote the above. If >44.x volts goes through that wire the LCD will assume a 48v battery and show the 07 error message maybe.

    BBS01B 36V 250W - trying with higher voltage [success]

I just ordered my diodes to do this mod, my problem is cadence: - my natural cadence is about 94 RPM so with low RPM motors I get back EMF - I now ride recumbent and my cadence is vital for comfort and power up to the 25 km/h cut off - on my upright I had a BBS01 clone (the GSM) and fixed the...

KT controller not switching between 36 and 48v batteries

¡Muchos gracias! Both work with 36v. I can't charge the battery much over 49v. I think I remember now someone saying that you need a fully charged 48v battery to make the LCD/controller switch...

KT controller not switching between 36 and 48v batteries

I just spent another 20 minutes in the bike garage with battery, second BT controller... The LCD4 will not turn on, if I hold down the on/off button while disconnecting the battery it flickers briefly on when the capacitors discharge to 42v or under. So I have deduced that the LCD4 is stuck in...

KT controller not switching between 36 and 48v batteries

No ideas? Back in the good old days if the voltage was over 42v the controller concluded that the battery was a 48v battery and switched to 48v mode. Here that is not happening, why?

KT controller not switching between 36 and 48v batteries

Hi, I have a strange problem with my 9FET 36/48v controller: - I have been running the trike with a 36v LiPo battery and the LiPos are end of life - I plugged in my 12S 44v battery charged up to 48.6v and... The controller doesn't turn on. I have never had this problem with switching between...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Does someone know where I can get the original KT Bluetooth software, or something better if it exists? At KT I am directed to a Chinese page that wants me to install a download client on my computer, you know I am not going to do something like that... cheers
