I just finish my conversion as well and went for a test ride. Sports and Turbo does add a lot of power, So far I like Tour mode for normal commuting seems to be best. I'm using the 750W version with a 48V 14.7 Ah battery. Thinking of installing the Open Source Firmware in the near future.

Was the replacement the 6 or 8 pin connector? I have the 6pin and thinking about just ordering the 8 pin controller and keep the original just in case.

I got some stuff from them before Seems like the CA vendors just order stuff from the same supplier in China and what not. Then jack up the prices.
