I need help on how to build a throttle interface for an Electric Paramotor using an servo tester. I am new to this sort of thing and attached a picture of all the stuff I am using. The servo Tester is a Turnigy.
I currently Fly a Gas powered Blackhawk 125 with a Edge-25 glider. I am fairly new to the sport. I liked the idea of practicing launches and landings with much smaller and lighter electric paramotor. And much less expensive to repair if something goes wrong.
I bought a home built Electric...

I am working on this Electric Paramotor Project (just like the video above) and have just about everything figured out except how to wire the controller. I’m have problems converting my servo tester to the trigger style potentiometer. I also would...
I thought I did in my initial post but I went back and read it and I guess I didn't. So very sorry. Still does not take away from the fact I have no ambition to build this pack myself not to mention tools or knowledge. So the plan was to sell the cells to fund a different battery. I have...
Hey thanks guys. I really do appreciate all the great info. Below is a youtube video depicting exactly what I am going for. Maybe a little longer flight times. below that is a link to all the parts he used to build this. As you can see his motor a smaller than mine and he is only running a...
Where? I would buy it right now if I could find one for that price. Don't tease me. Most definitely not a battery hobby. No offense. I actually have dreams/nightmares about batteries the other night.
All very good points made. I have attached a couple pictures. Don't really need a diagram to explain the harness. Basically there are 4 x 4mm plugs and all 8 wires go to the controller so I would say they are wired in Parallel.
Not very concerned with the batteries to malfunction other than...
I was also interested in using the original battery configuration used but I am the third owner and don't have it. First was the guy who built it and sold it when someone stole his 20ah lipo pack. Second owner purchase all the A123 Lifepo4 cells and planned to build a 16s pack for it but lost...
I do have a lipo battery Charger/balancer and understand the basics. I have several small RC Airplanes so I have been dealing with these batters for a few years now but never this advanced. Never had to configure batters in series or parallel. No I do not have any soldering tools or...
Ykick. You can do that? mix different voltage lipo packs in series without issues. I want to be sure before I do that cause others on an RC form said that this was a big no no.
So I am having a hard time deciding on the battery configuration. All the lipos that I have seen with large capacity such as 20000mah are either 4s or 6s meaning there is no good way to get to 14s. So that brings up another question. Is it okay to use a battery pack with a fully charged...
This is a link to the controller I am using.

Masterspin 220 Pro
So would you recommend using the multistar lipos that Slowco recommended but in a different configuration to get to a higher Voltage. And is it bad to go over the 42v that the manufacturer recommends?
Thank you for all the great info. I looked some more stuff up on this motor.

I recently purchased a Home Built Electric Paramotor. Original Owner and builder was using a 20AH Lipo Battery pack and got approx 25 minutes of flight time. Second Owner was planning to build a 16s battery pack using 20ah LifePo4 prismatic high C rating cells in series. He was also going to...
