Hi, i have a 2024 LMX 56. It has a Silixcon SC Series controller that seems to be built right into the motor drive assembly. The motor has an unknown number of poles and slots. An unkown reduction gearbox with helical spur gears and a final belt drive with unkown sprocket tooth count and 63T on...
The source indeed makes assumptions:
An 1.6GW EPR nuclear powerplant costs at least 13,2 billion€ without dismantling costs. This is at least 8250€/kW, but only if it was built altready, new ones will be more expensive as equipment prices have risen in the meantime. Hinkley Point C will cost...
Unfortunately, this study does not contain any calculations, but simply asserts these figures as facts. However, it is quite interesting to see that nuclear energy seems to be cheaper in Germany than in Texas even though there are no more nuclear power plants in operation in Germany. I would be...
There are ready made generator controllers exactly for this pupose. Have a look here: https://dcautogen.com/product/v7-autogen-auto-start-generator-controller/
For a grid tie system you can use a regular PV inverter that is capable of zero feed in. Just be aware that most inverters are limited for ~13amps or so per tracker, so 2kW in your case. If you need more than 2kW you can use one that has 2 trackers and connect them in parrallel to your battery
a friend just reciently had a similar issue. The motor casing was filled with a lot of water so the motor thought that the brake levers where pressed. Releasing the water solved the issue
this looks a lot like the planetry gear reduction of a geared hub motor, fixvid. I build quite a few bikes with such a gear reduction with success, there is a very long thread linked in my signature.
me too. Make sure you get an ESP one from SRAM. I have best experience with the X3 dereilleur and 8speed cassettes. Shifts easier and better then more expensive 9 and 10-speed systems.
nice to see this progress! I am keen to see your gear reduction setup. Hope you will use this in a mid drive setup? Any more final decision about a motor yet?
wait, this is a code 8?! nice find! yeah, this dual jackshaft drive is definitely a nice thing. Do you have real intentions? I think i saw such a last sprocket adapter in my basement, if you want i can give it to you.
