Thank you for all of your constructive criticism ! Much appreciated, diminishing returns for sure. Conceptually the idea for the split pack came from essentially an hourglass with holes in it (losses) and each time the sand (energy) travels from one side(one part of battery) to the other, most...
so what should I do then? Are there any positive things to say?
It is one single battery pack that would be split electronically.
The generator activates once the battery drained to a certain percentage hence SPLIT - I`m aware of the laws of thermodynamics.
*Would having the generator on at...
It is one battery pack that activates the generator once drained to a certain percentage hence SPLIT - I`m aware of the laws of thermodynamics. Would having the generator on at all times be any better or worse? Disregarding the split pack idea and addressing some of the others such as the copper...
I have a idea and wanted to know if any one thinks this is possible/worth.
A HIGH EFFICIENCY MOTOR/DYNAMO GENERATOR to capacitor/s coupled with a SPLIT battery pack. however you split it (60-40, 70-30)(not a absolute but wouldn't it be hard to discharge and charge a battery at the same...
Hi Y'all! I recently put this battery together with a bms. After leaving it connected to my solar setup (campervan) for a few weeks it has sadly lowered voltage to 10.6
Any ideas as to what could of caused it.
HI! I'm back with another silly question haha I have connected the Cells in parallel and series, just like the image but I'm unsure about where to place the balance leads. There are 5 lines (1 black, 4 white)
Hi All! I am currently building a battery bank for my campervan, I am working with Lithium cells that are rated at 3.2v 100 AH
I am joining these cells in parallel and then in series for a total of 8 cells at 12v 200 AH - also adding a BMS :D
(replace the tape with copper plates)
My question...
