I'm using 3.00x16 Shinko Trials tires on 16" rims...should be 21-22" diameter when fully inflated. I weigh 155 on a good day and hope to keep the bike and battery pack under 125 if possible. I am concerned with torque...I live in Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau. Lots of old mine roads...

How much reliable power can I potentially pump into a hub motor rated for 1000 watts at 48 volts. I am looking at the Hallomotor direct drive 48 volt 1000 watt hub motors, with the oil cooling mod. Is it better to boost the voltage to 60 or 72, or keep the voltage at 48 and boost amperage. Sorry...
