O.k., thanks. Seems to me that every current reading is predicated by the Rshunt setting. I don't know if the Rshunt is set correctly, since I have no other method for measuring how much current is drawn at full throttle from a stand still. I assume that a 20 amp controller should draw 20 amps...

I would even pay someone to explain how this thing works at this point. I'm impressed with the product and what the manufacturer claims it does, but I'm unimpressed with how the manual's author assumes the reader has an extensive background in electronics. Justin has a great product; he failed...

I'm having a hell of a time interpreting how the advanced settings work. I really wish this manual gave some examples of how doing X,Y, and Z will give you such-and-such kind of outcome. I'm assuming that a very simple way to extend the range I can ride is by reducing the Max Throttle setting...

I would love it if you dumbed down the Cycle Analyst manual for the lay person. Every time I try to mess with the advanced/limiting settings and read the manual to try to figure it out, my eyes glaze over. The manual needs examples of what happens if you do this and this and this...or a metaphor...

Schwalbe Marathon Plus. I've had great luck with these and am on my third set. Just be prepared for a battle putting them on your rim; they're stiff as hell and you'll probably bend or break a few tire irons (the plastic ones at least).

I just got my CA in the mail, tried plugging it into the controller (Infineon 36-48v, 20 amp), and nothing happens. The CA won't turn on and the throttle does nothing. I unplug the CA, everything works as usual. The only thing I can think of which may be affecting things is that I don't have...

I have a 36v LiMnNiCo e-bike battery. Even though it has separate charge and discharge wires, both having different kinds of connectors, can I charge the battery using the discharge wires? I'm trying to standardize/simplify all my charger and battery connectors with Andersons.
