TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Thank you rivers. They seem to have a double chainring solution for Bafang but for the TSDZ2 there are only the 42T and 40T chainrings.

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Thank you Elinx. I had hoped for a simple solution and to avoid soldering this time...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

After 10'500 km of happily riding my TSDZ2/OSF someone ran over my bike and I need some help for the rebuild: 1) Can anyone help with a source for the APT bootloader other than EcoCycles (website down, no e-mail replies) or Electrify Bike (do not ship outside of USA)? 2) I would like to have a...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Thank you very much, perryscope, for the explanations and the code. This will be very helpful, when I try to build my turn signal/blinker and brake lights (I think I will go with the simpler hardwired version). Your bike-train is a very nice project and build! :thumb:

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Nice job, perryscope! I would be very interested in your code and some more details of your build. I‘m not sure if I understood everything you wrote: Did you do an Arduino controlled version and a TSDZ2 controlled version? Where did you plug it in? Battery? TSDZ2 cable? Separate battery?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

External signal would be fine and Arduino would be nice as you could have control over blink rate etc. What I had in mind was a more fool proof solution such as an adaption of some existing system for motor bikes (combustion/scooters). There are many of these on the market, some need a relay...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Has anybody been experimenting with turn signals/blinkers? I would like to add some to my tsdz2 because I am often riding at night on steep roads with lots of traffic and I don‘t like to let go the handlebar in this situation to signal a turn. I think adding electric turn signals would be a bit...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Thanks to casainho my issues with the white screen and the inverted screen on the 850C were solved with version 4.2. and I could finally ride my bike. Wonderful experience already with OSF version 19.0 - thanks to everybody contributing! Last weekend I added the temperature sensor and improved...

Bafang 850C color LCD, currently working for TSDZ2 motor -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

Thanks for version 0.4.2., casainho. Works perfectly. The immediade reset after a change of the setting is a very nice extra!

Bafang 850C color LCD, currently working for TSDZ2 motor -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

Thanks again for you work. Is this the bootloader version? And if not: Would you be kind enough to also produce the bootloader version (or tell me how to do it)? By the way: Last weekend I finally could take my first ride on the new bike with versions 0.4.1 and 0.19.0. It was a great experience...

Bafang 850C color LCD, currently working for TSDZ2 motor -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

I tested the firmware: I could change the display setting to invert but it didn‘t change the screen. I also tried to turn off/restart the screen, but the invert setting is not being saved (after restart the setting is back to default). In general I think you are right with option 3. There will...

Bafang 850C color LCD, currently working for TSDZ2 motor -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

The issue with the white screen is resolved indeed. But I am a bit desparate: The information shown on the display is now mirrored. Help appreciated!

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I seem to have a very wicked display... I could install the new version and it resolved the white screen issue (thanks to all the developers!). But the result was a mirrored screen. Any solutions or ideas what I could do?
