yeah if you mix up the 3 hall wires the worst that can happen is a bouncy motor stall or reverse. Though one thing to watch out for is dont stand next to your bike and tap the throttle to test if its working...... its a good way to get a nasty thumping from your pedals in reverse. Do be careful...
