Yes, I want to keep the gearing and use a chain drive from the front. I may put the motor in the triagle above the crank though. So, yes I want tripple chainrings (with a fourth chainring for the motor) on a freewheeling crank. Of course saving money on this setup wil be good! Can it be done...

I saw those posts but they are not using a tripple chainring in the front. Is this possible using the Eno (white indrustries?) freewheel and putting the motor up front AND use a tripple chainring such as in:
