    TSDZ2 Torque Problem

Updating this with the answer to my issue. I took apart the motor and had a look at the torque sensor and the entire shaft was cracked in a spiral pattern which reached both ends of the shaft. I think the crack would have shifted the sensor out of alignment the more twisting force was applied to...

    TSDZ2 Torque Problem

I have a TSDZ2 48v 750w that recently started having issues with the assist completely dropping out whenever I start applying more torque. It feels like the torque sensor is reporting values in reverse, with normal flat cruising working fine but when I start going up a hill or switch to a higher...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Well for future reference the bad LM35s were: 62AB LM35DZ from xiumeche-0 - 9/10 just didn't work, 1/10 was reported 20 degrees lower than actual temp 89015 LM35DZ from wonder_2018 - These seemed to work vaguely but they fluctuated output wildly between actual temperature and 0. Possibly due to...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

You have the fc-e6000 installed on an older model and they're fine? Mine is from this year so I guess the spindles are shorter. Would you mind posting a picture to show the size of the gap between the crank and the bottom bracket?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Has anyone had a difficult time finding working LM35s for the temperature sensor? I've bought 2 lots of 10 from different vendors and I can't get it to work on the open source software. The bike just doesn't register any change from the sensor. I guess part of the problem is that they're from...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Yeah I just ran into the same issue, the holes are bigger than the stock crank arms so instead of leaving an air gap between the bottom bracket and the arm they grind against each other. IDK whats the solution except a shim to make the spindle holes smaller?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

So I was messing with the max current of the battery and it let me keep going past 18 Amps even though the documentation says it should be limited to 18. This is on 0.19.x. Can anyone double check if this is the case for them or if maybe my install is funky and I should try reflashing the lcd.

The current does spike up to around 12 when I first start pedaling from a standstill, along with the wattage, but it quickly stabilizes around 400w @ ~8 A. I tried reducing the battery resistance but I think 130 milliohms is about right. The 48v high cadence mode seems to lower the duty-cycle...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

My motor is 48v, I actually just installed a temperature sensor last weekend and I didn't see any damage like the burnt looking coils you show on the wiki or any water but I can check again to see if anything is wrong. How would I be able to verify motor damage from visual inspection? If...

Sorry could you clarify, do you mean increase or decrease the gear ratio? I'm currently at the highest rear gear my bike has unfortunately. The front gear is a 52T single gear. Is the intent to try and get the motor to spin slower?

Pedaling at my highest gear on 3x assist my cadence is around 60-66

From a quick test I got: PWM duty cycle : 254 ERPs : Fluctuated between 390-400 Also, current seems to max out around 8 Amps seated, I can get it to jump to around 12 if I start pedaling standing.

Hi, First I wanted to say that this project is great, I've been using the software and overall I enjoy it! However I've noticed that the assist levels seem to hit a wall pretty quickly, at least for me. I'm actually finding that compared to the stock software I'm around 10% slower at max speed...
