Thanks for the reply. Yes I was concerned about the BMS not balancing the cells. As I've read that most of the BMSs don't start to balance until 4.2V.

Hi all, I'm trying to solder xt90 connectors to some turnigy lipos. I've take the 5.5 bullet connector off. However the solder doesn't seem to take to the wire from the battery. Could you tell me which type of solder I need? thanks

What I'm trying to understand is what the use of a 3 speed switch when you can control the speed with a throttle?

With regards the the 3 speed switch. How does this work?? Are the lower speeds the same as using the throttle to control the speed? Basically I don't want a 3 speed switch and would have it default to the fastest speed. So if I use less throttle would it be the same as using a lower speed...
