My thoughts exactly. Once it gets over $500 it just doesn't really make sense to me to go through a local supplier when they have nothing written to protect you.

I'm not really understanding the benefit to buying direct from Luna seeing how there still isn't a warranty. A few issues have arose with dead batteries and the like on the Facebook group and it'll be interesting to see how they play out with Luna. But even if they support issues right now...
