I cancelled the order today. After three unresponsive months from the dealer and Prodeco it was time to move on. Might cost me the deposit, but a lesson learned!
The 27th of June will be three months since I placed the order with a Prodeco dealer for a Storm 300. I'm posting this to ease my frustration. Not only for not receiving the bike in a timely manner, but because I've not heard anything regarding status. I have been shopping for an alternative and...
I ordered a Prodeco Storm through a dealer nearly three months ago and I'm still uncertain as to the status of my order. The dealer I bought the bike through is unable to tell me and attempts to email or contact Prodeco have gone unanswered.

More then two months for me now, and still in "the dark" as to a delivery date. Six months is way too long. I would like to believe that the Prodeco dealers, and Prodeco themselves, would be interested in keeping their customers informed as to the status of their order.
Reading these posts helps me to maintain my enthusiasm for the Prodeco Storm I ordered two months ago today. I've managed to maintain patience because of the positive reports on the Genesis/Storm I've read on sites like this one. However, it would be good for the dealers to be a bit more...
Loved that description too. The Evelo does look attractive because it drives through the crank instead of the hub of either wheel, providing a better torque advantage. However, it does not fold and is a bit heavier, and is pricier then the the Prodeco. It's also marketed under other names as...
I should mention that I didn't order the bike through Champion, to be fair to them. It would be nice if Prodeco would increase production, or at least keep their customers informed as to where their order is.
May 25, and it's been two months to the day since I placed an order, with a deposit, for the Prodeco Storm. The Evelo electric is looking better all the time, with a $200 reduction in price over the memorial day weekend.
I placed an order through a "dealer", with a deposit, on March 27, 2012. Here it is May 14, 2012, with no idea when I might see the bike. With no communication from Prodeco regarding order status I guess patience is the key word here.
