Crystalite 408 (go-hub) from largoscooters.com Three heavyier wires .yellow.blue,and green come from the motor as well as these five smaller ones I managed to solder the wire back on to the contact but the bike still has no life??
The vender told me they use the same throttle for the 36 and 48 volt systems? Anyway I hooked it up and the wheel spun and I thought it was the problem but then I hit the throttle again and nothing. It is the same as the "old" throttle. It will work sporadically but for the most part not at all...
There is a group of three wires red, black, white all together and then a purple one by itself I would imagine the purple one by itself to be the one not to hook up for the lights on throttle meter?
"could be damaged by 48V" by this you mean just the light or the throttle itself? I have a ping pack so the lights are useless to me, so if it just messes the lights up and doesn't damage the throttle itself I would be o.k. with that verses the time and hassle of a exchange. thanks for the reply.
I ordered a 48 volt throttle for my 408 and they sent me one that has 36volt marked on it. Question is will the 36 volt throttle work with my 48 volt pack and controller?? Or should I send it back?
Crystalite 48 volt 20amp controller ping 10amp hr have ridden the bike for 4 years without one problem. The last ride was 21 miles and the bike worked fine when I put it on the charger. I go to ride today and I have no power to the motor? I plugged the battery into the Anderson plug and the...
Shortened the face shield so it comes just under my nose with my head down a little and it works great! It still is not that great at overall wind protection as far as warmth goes but it keeps the bugs out of my eyes and nose.[attachment=0]DSC00107.JPG
This one is easy to shorten as it is made of thin material and can be bought for 5 to 7 dollars,I was hoping for more wind protection but will be glad if it keeps the bugs at bay as the bike trail I ride to work has some very thick patches of bugs on it
The shield didn't work so well as it fogged up bad and really didn't keep the wind out very good.I may shorten it a little so it won't maybe it won't fog but may keep the bugs out of my nose :x
Thanks guys,
I kinda figured it didn't work that way and also knew I would get a answer as to why not if I post the question because you guys on here really know your sh  t!! Thanks again, and eventually I will get a cycle analyst or watts up meter
