    Weird Hub Motor Symptoms

Okay so I did a bit of testing and the pack off the charger is 56v (48v pack). The motor runs fine until the voltage goes below around 49v. The pack is nowhere near drained as I only used 1.458/10 amp-hours. The sound it makes is what I would compare to an engine stalling or two plates of metal...

    Weird Hub Motor Symptoms

Decided to go for a little ride after not using the ebike for a couple of months (blew a charger and it took ages for the new one to get here).. so I recharged the battery and was ready to go. Everything was going great, i had the "ebike grin" again until around 15 minutes into my ride when i...

    Conhis Vs Cute(BMSbattery)

I only have experience with conhis motors, and I would definitely NOT advise choosing them!! I bought my first 48v 10ah lifepo4 from them and had a whole host of problems. The battery was wired wrong and so was the charger and I ended up blowing the charger immediately! Blew another charger...

How do I wire my watt meter?

I have a Turnigy Watt Meter and would like to know how to wire it so that i can see all the information it is capable of displaying e.g. Watts, Amp max, Voltage min, Watt hours used etc.. When i connect it straight to my battery obviously it just displays the voltage reading across the whole...

Is the BMS supposed to get quite warm/hot whilst charging?

The charger came supplied with the battery, the BMS also came already pre-wired up to the battery so im pretty confident its okay based on this then :) It is still touchable (can hold it for as long as needed and it doesnt burn my hand) through the casing, just feels very warm. thanks.

    Pot-Hole nightmares! Tell me yours...

The roads where I live are terrible, at the sides there's plenty of grids, bumps & potholes caused by excessive traffic volumes and I HATE THEM! Every time I ride over one of these things in the dark or by accident I get an almighty bump on my ass from the seat. Most of the weight is at the...

    rust removal solution?

Phosphoric acid is the main ingredient in most rust removers, you want to get something that is based on this and it should clear the rust right up, be sure it is rust thats causing the problem first and not just a loose wire that is shorting out and tripping the BMS (happened to me a couple of...

    Premature BMS cutoff?

Just got my pack on charge right now and its sitting at full and reading 60.47v, the 24 miles was really a big surprise to me as well but i was putting reasonable pedaling for about 5 miles, average speed 22mph for that ride. very relieved everything seems to be normal and i'll just ride a bit...
