I've successfully flashed 5 bbs02s and all went well with great results. Today I flashed a friends... the flashing went well...but when I turned it on I got an error 10 'motor overheat'. The motor was stone cold so I knew that wasn't the real issue. I was able to ride the bike but the response...
I have several bbs02 motors but only the newest has the pas/throttle problem. It is also the only hardware v2.0 motor with 1.0.0.4 firmware. All the others are h/w v1.1 with v2.0.1.1 f/w. I was hoping to try this firmware on the newer motor but incase anything goes wrong I would want to get back...
Going by gatorsean's post back at https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=100064&start=50#p1473826... which says
.. it would seem this is for a 48v controller but limited to 24 amps, however the date part of the filename seems to have become jumbled.
Well I managed to get my motor working again using the firmware found here https://support.biktrix.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047638711-52V-Programming-for-BBS02
The strange thing was that every article or YouTube clip I've seen says that in the software used to flash the controller you have to...
Would anyone be able to supply the standard BBS02 firmware file for the 48v motor? I'm running 52v batteries but I'm assuming the current firmware handles that ok ??
Thanks.
After you flashed with "CRR10E4830E105027.1_(latest)_190927.bin" were you able to alter the settings using the configuration tool? If so, could you post your configuration file?
Can you please provide a link to the different BBSHD firmwares? I'm assuming the new 52v controller is the same controller as before with just new firmware, there's no other difference ??
A friend of mine bought a new BBSHD with what I assume was the new 52v firmware...it was sold as a 52v...
I would love to see your settings... or have a copy of the config file ?? I have worked on mine quite a bit also.. basically I use an unlimited setting but PAS level 1 is different to allow some grunt for standing starts.
