They are mbs matrix trucks. No springs. I can barely turn 180 degrees on a 2 lane road but its not hard to pop the front up to turn sharper like a skateboard
Well i spoke too soon. It was just one of the barrell connectors. Put a new one on and it works again. Im still curious though. Does it do any harm for the motors to spin at different rates(doughnuts) running unsensored?
I have a e-mountainboard unsensored. I was doing doughnuts in grass, fell down and when i got back up one of the motors wouldnt spin. It just coggs back and forth now. Im guessing some magnets broke loose. Do I need sensored setup to do drifting/doughnuts safely?
Figured i should update. I ended up roughing up the motor and mount w a dremel cuting shallow parallel lines and put more loctite on. Ive been riding it a couple weeks now and it doesnt seem to loosen up anymore.
I think you wouldnt be able to fine tune the hole/slots your talking about. The seperate tensioner would be the way to go if it could be locked in place. I would imagine mountainbike style one would bounce around too much on rough terrain. I wish other people would chime in cuz ive seen alot of...
Thats what i did the last time i had to mess with it. Ive rode it alot since without the chain popping bit it definitely loosened up. Probably from riding rough terrain. I was thinking maybe i could rough up the motor and the bracket where they touch with a hacksaw and that might give it a...
How do u bolt the motor to the bracket. I hhave the same design with slots so u can adjust the chain tension and ive had issues w it loosening up on me and the chain popping off. Im using a washer on the bolt and locktite and The motor still slides down. Any ideas?
