Gdday Kim and all, Ok the backs healing well, but unsurprisingly, after all this time, the trikes frame has not healed one jot or tittle! Ive finally managed to do a little today and pulled a few things off the trike. So heres some shots of the bent bit. Any help with good ideas/repairs...

    Aussie Role Call

Gidday mate, I've been discharged as of yesterday. It is so good to be out and about! I'm tottering around like a one year old! Legs are very sore and back needs horizontal rest every couple of hours, so I'm not capable of much at the present. I'll still have to wear a very restrictive brace for...

News is good today. No news from the doctor - but suddenly I'm having a chest to thigh cast made which is going to be the mould for a 'poly jacket' which means they are intending getting me upright a lot earlier than I was first told. The guy across from me who got thrown from a horse and has...

Cheers for driving me home mate and unloading the trike. By the time we got to my place I was thinking that maybe I should have just got an ambulance, however as with a lot of things, its easy to say what you should have done when you've had time to think. Its a little difficult to be insistent...

Target: 200W (ish) Aussie Stealth Bike - ideas

hi Shorza, As is talked about earlier in the thread... a simple way is to use a cycle analyst to monitor the current (hence power) and use the cycle analyst output to shunt the throttle signal when the set power level is reached. More info see here http://www.ebikes.ca/drainbrain.shtml part 9

    help please regarding my cyclone

That is good news! Just a question.. now that I'm looking at you're build postings. Do you have any problems with your foot hitting the motor at all? I have a 24V cyclone on a mountain bike, setup similar to yours but because the motor is shorter the cranks go right past it, but from measuring...

    help please regarding my cyclone

Hi, Do you have a BMS in between the battery and the controller? I had a similar problem after fitting a cycle analyst ( See http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=15450 ) I had inadvertently damaged the BMS which dicharged the top cell and then (correctly ) cut the power to the...

    50A Cutoff switch. Arcing

I got a 40A breaker from the The 12V shop http://www.12volt.com.au/redirect.html?a=/General%20Htmls/webcat2003/breakers.html - which works oK for me. Also have the momentary switch and 1k 5w resistor in parrallel as Amberwolf suggested so I don't wear it out with arcing.
