I had like, exactly the same problem, look through my threads to see the description and video, the problem turned out to be a blown controller due to water getting in.

My ebike is wonderful and life changing, from going on rides with friends or just turning up to where i need to be (I use my ebikes as my only form of transport) without being sweaty like a normal bike, I can still pedal if i feel like it, and my 1000w setup gives me enough power to zoom away...

THey are Russians-they don't use tube benders, they use their hands! ;)

holy shit i had the same thing like 4 days ago, its a connection inside the battery somewhere, i sent mine back to the dealer i bought it from, and i got it back 4 days later, fixed, no questions asked.

A lovely looking bike, very clean! Try disconnecting the pedal assist, and on the dashboard press ALL the buttons and see what happens, you can test some throttle pins for a certain voltage, but I forget what that is, just test the pins with a multimeter and see if it's all working fine :)...

i'd say LiFePo4 sounds likea good, safe option, you can get convenient water bottle batteries that are about 9AH 36v, I have one, and it was great till I broke it (my fault though) just search for 'water bottle battery' and you'll see prices and things, as I'm from the UK I probably can't help...

well i am going to be padding my hard case cells out very well so they are nice and safe, and as I say, I'll be charging them in a greenhouse away from the house, with nothing else in them, inside a big ass steel box, so I figure they should be pretty safe :) well I think I'll install a Low...

okay thanks! So If i were to have them charging outside in a building that is made of steel and glass, with nothing else in it, would it be okay to leave them? like, doesnt the charger have an auto cutoff or anything? I've seen all the awful house fire stories so they will be stored there most...
