My firmware was locked to 28A. I flashed the firmware and now run it @30A and have better all round performance. Another bonus it that when using a 48v battery the % gauge on the display seems to be calibrated now.
I went for a 5 1/2 hour-100.56 KM ride yesterday and averaged 4.6wh/km (bike + me is a little over 300#. At the start the 48V battery was 54.5V and at the end of the ride was 47.6V. By rough calculations I believe it tells me the battery is between 19 and 20Ah. These stats were through eggrider...
I have built a Ebike for myself with plans for another for my wife. To keep cost down I opted for a cheaper battery that I will use later on my wife's bike. I have a BBSHD with a 48V supposedly 20Ah pack (pictures of the cells below) but when drawing ~peak 32A for spurts I have had it cut out...
I want to say thank you everyone for all your hard work on this. I was using a 48V battery and was experiencing quite a drop in power as the voltage dropped below ~47 V. I now have 1400W + right down to 44V and my throttle will give full AMPs even on PAS 1. BTW I used the 190413 bin file.
