Heyo, The concern with the higher phase currents on the ShengYi motors is related to the possibility of stripping the nylon planetary gears inside the motor. We actually had to tone down the phase currents on our Grinfineon 25A controllers because of this specific issue on the Bafang G-Series...

Well, If Im going to put the money into building a crazy ebike, I cant do it alone... Also I do need to go quite fast, at least highway speeds :) I really enjoy speed and acceleration.

Can EBikes even go 90kmh with out a ridiculous amount of wattage, battery, and practically no range?(not saying the jet will have alot of range but, you get the point.)

Edf's are crazy, but not as good as jets.

yeah, that is the main reason why I want to do it, You will keep accelerating until the wind resistance and other factors overcome the thrust, with a electric motor you loose its thrust with speed.

I could just use direct power from the jet, giving me about 15kw or around 20hp each instead of just direct jet. 40hp is really crazy.

Jebus, that video above is crazy... As for the area, I have a very long road that no one ever uses. with 130 pounds it would spool up pretty fast... fast enough for a holy shit moment... 500lbs would be fun tho, because you would have trouble holding on to the handrails :P

Hey peoples, So im planning on build a jet bike with some JetCat jet motors. Im planning on buying two p300's which produce 300 newtons of force, or around 67 pounds. It should go super fast. Anyone have any suggestions or cautions about this project? Would love to know. Cheers

The discharged lipo that i have, Do they gain pressure even if they are not in use?

Forgot to say in last post, I know not to try to charge dead lipos.

Little update. Accdently left the controller on with that battery :(, It now feels like a peice of warm butter.
