    Good 14s R/C charger?

I've never seen a 14s- capable RC charger, but it looks like you found one from Graupner. Most would say they are overpriced, but Graupner and Hyperion are the Mercedes and Maybach of the RC world, whether you think they are worth the money is up to you.

    Lunacycles Charger - adjustable?

I bought the multistar Lipo Packs and will be wiring them to a Bestech Power D223V1 BMS board. I've read that a lot of people don't recommend RC Lipo with a BMS and bulk charging, but others do. I've already got the RC lipo equipment as I fly RC planes, so I have the balancing equipment to do a...

    Lunacycles Charger - adjustable?

Yes. I just bought one with the intent of turning the voltage down for a 12s setup I am building. It is the pot on the right,by itself that adjusts the voltage. Clockwise to decrease it, I believe. If you are getting a Luna charger for 35$, that is a great deal. I just paid 75 shipped and don't...

    AWD without differentials?

Thanks for the replies. Alan gives some some really interesting ideas about the hardware, and I do think that it is an added complexity, but then so are a lot of systems going into vehicles. Nobody needs auto drive or back up cameras or battery cooling systems, or etc... But maybe a system like...

    AWD without differentials?

It is not just a reduction of torque, it is a redistribution of the torque that requested through the throttle input. If say you request x-amount of torque, then the electronics would vary the throttle input to the drive wheels based on the situation, not just reduce the throttle to one of the...

    AWD without differentials?

All the examples you mentioned (except for the AMG SLS) all use electronically controlled mechanical systems. That isn't what I am looking for. I am curious about the system used in the AMG, as it looks interesting, thanks.

Friction Drive New Kepler carbon build

I believe all their 10-speed stuff is indexed the same, but I've not needed to worry about it, as the Apex long cage is dirt cheap and supports up to an 11-32 road cassette, which is plenty of range for just about anything. Edit: I have checked online, and it looks like the SRAM XX components...

Friction Drive New Kepler carbon build

You can find 10 speed all over the place with hidden cables. I run Sram Apex on my roadie, and it is dirt cheap, and 10-speed.

    Tesla Model 3

If they only sell 1/3 of the cars people have reserved, they will have more than doubled their cumulative sales up to this point. Thanks to all the folks who have preordered. I thought about it, but will not likely put my reservation in for a month or two longer. That should give Tesla enough...

    AWD without differentials?

I don't think think this is universally true, as a well-designed mechanical differential would not really be any worse than the set of reduction gears that would be needed if a diff was not used.

    AWD without differentials?

Yes, I understood. What I was curious about was how to deal with the weight transfer and the inevitable inside wheelslip. As one corners, the weight transfers to the outside wheel, and then you want to distribute the torque unevenly left to right, biasing heavy on the outside where the grip is...

    Q100 and Q128 with 0.35mm laminations

I am still ready for a front and rear matching motors. Just let me know what is going to be made available and how much. I'll be running 12 or 14s in a 700c wheel set.

    AWD without differentials?

Yeah, hub motors would not be my choice. I don't think applying the same torque on both inside and outside wheels during cornering would be ideal, since at some point the inside will begin to spin, but as long as the wheels don't get chewed up when cornering that should be alright. Llile, no...
