I have very little experience with Vesc but dont you need to activate the UART in vesc-tool?

Hello People. Just a minor update from the post the MP2-DFN, the version of the MP2 which does not use TO-220s. V0.3 is a slightly improved version. There are no circuit changes, but some components have been updated. However, the main improvement was a safety issue. Note this picture...

Hello people, I'm please to report on a new open source version ESC. This board uses NVMTSC4D3N15MC MOSFETs but still is a MP2: Designed to run 300A at 150v (so far only tested at 100v) Fully compatible with VESC using the STM32F405 pill Cheap to order -- manufacturing files ready to upload to...

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I have ordered these and like A-DamW I did not have an issue. I also have had the experience when JLC has found problems in boards that I have submitted before and there were no complaints. Agree with badgineer -- making that change seems fine to me.

My last order for 10 boards was $232 USD not including shipping. Then you'll need: 18 FETs (see this page for suggestions [LINK] some caps DCDC converter for 12v (example: PQDE6W-Q110-S12-D) DCDC converter for 5v (example: XP power VR05S05) headers (example: 929850-01-20-10) the cheapest...

So I encourage you to order from jlcpcb --it's unlikely that you save money by ordering the constituent parts and doing it yourself. We typically use jlcpcb to handle all the SMD parts and you solder the rest. What we've found is for many people this is a very hard project if you dont have a...

Regarding a fan header, yes you certainly could solder to 12v and gnd on the underside coming off of the low side of buck converter. I have bluetooth on mine. I dont use VESC but in my case I connected it to one of the serial ports and it worked without problems. Flipsky ships a BT board (and...

    NEW QS 165 MOTOR

have a look at this post [LINK] where I got 720 ehz. RPM = ehz * 60 / polepairs therefore it produced 6,170. This was with 18S and brilliant field weakening firmware written by @mxlemming. Note that QS is now shipping a version 2 with specs that will probably be better than my motor.

@andrewwinter - I've mentioned this before but be sure to have a look at our docs for testing the MP2 to check for potential problems. @mxlemming - I wonder if we could also generate some docs to help people debug/test their opamps. 🤔
