Old school, hardly, all BBSxx's are quite new and the stunners have the newer upgraded Mosfets, and I guess? all the watts we're aloud on the road with here in Canada. (36V, 500W) I only got it a short time ago, and because it is winter I haven't had much of a chance to try it long distance...

I've done a fair amount of Ebaying, and I'm near 100% sure a paypal dispute must be opened within 45 days of purchase, so forget that. Keep in mind I'm also a newb, but read a lot in the last few months...OK. Seems your way below LVC and there is likely no way to charge it "normally" however...

Thanks, I never ran across that NKON site before. But their price is equal to a ready made battery. I have not seen loose cells for sale on either Luna cycle or ebikes.ca ? The member Tumich seems to have the best prices that I've ever seen personally. I just bought a ready made STUNNER...

Where are the cheap loose cells ? My somewhat limited searching and a few pages of notes have come up with cells that would cost me what a completed, quality battery would cost say from Luna, and that's not counting sourcing, and shipping the other parts, wire, nickle strips, BMS, and spot...

THANKS VERY much Idlemind. 1) I agree with you, that because it is easy, and pretty quick to take apart you can check individual cells often. I understand about the flashlight's low spring pressure,...and the low draw of a light bulb. I don't intend to spin my wheels, so a modest 10 AMPS...
