I have noticed a huge difference in torque with change in temp. I have SLA batteries. now I take my battery inside when I am at work. and it makes about a 20% difference in speed up hill. I am not measuring torque/current. yet. :mrgreen:

well I traded my car for my bike, so my only costs is insurance + fuel vs electicity. (160km daily commute when I was driving) $130 ins $120 fuel + 4hrs a day (3.2km daily commute now, I moved) $0 electricity is free on campus + 8min a day so my time I will charge about $25/hr and work...

Hey Justin, just curious, are you flying back? it just seems funny and ironic that you spend $10 to cross the country and spend hundreds(if not more) to get back. I have a friend that is training to do this (without electric) to bike back from halifax. for charity. cheers, Rod
