Having the city do this is remarkable! They would take all the risk away for the public! #genius electric scooter repairs, battery charging worries etc.

As for not that many escooters in Vancouver I got a few ideals/points. I believe price is a factor, it's kinda costly to purchase a good escooter in the first place, when you can get a gas scooter 50cc for same price and in most cases cheaper, and/or a solid bicycle for a few hundred bucks...

Just an update 11 months later! Getting the same problem, the past few weeks occasionally the scooter would just give out and stop running while I was driving it, a simple turn off/on and it would go again. Then last week, the day before it wouldn't go again, the scooter was running pretty...

baha I got that disconnected, stupid thing worked too well as my e-scooter didn't even go after awhile as my brake/motor connection just stayed that way, it's good for rookies but after riding for a while it's pointless.

lol, I'm gonna get those small black pedal crank arm's though, best way to conceal those ugly bike pedals.
