TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hey all, Enjoying the 20 beta 3. Have a question - if my display is set to Imperial, is EVERY applicable menu item in imperial units? Specifically, is the torque sensor reading in menu 10 in pounds? I was checking my calibration with a digital luggage scale, and it appears to be bang on - if...

I also rely heavily on the Wh counting feature, with my old Ping LiFePO4 battery. 5+ years old and still going strong! Wh counting seems to work well for me - what was the problem reported? Neil P.S. I'm still on 17, about to make the move to 19.8.

Thanks, I'll hold off until the 0.17 LCD3 file issues are sorted out.

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Thanks, casainho, and all who contributed! Will give 0.17 a try ASAP in my LCD3. Do I have to update my motor controller firmware to 0.17? Or are there no changes from 0.16? Thanks! Neil

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Five miles into a ride today, my motor quit. The LCD3 screen went blank except for a flashing '25' (in the motor watts field, IIRC). I powered the LCD3 down and up again, and the display appears normal. Battery is fine at 75%, 53.4 volts (Ping 48v LiFePO4 20AH). All wiring/connections appear...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I finally got to ride the bike today under 0.16.0, and am pretty pleased with the performance vs. stock firmware. Kudos to the development team! I do have a few questions. - is there any tracking of total distance, over all rides? The odometer seems to zero/reset when I power off, and I can't...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Lights wiring is fine. There is no voltage on the lighting wire at the plug coming out of the controller, so it appears the 6v converter circuit on the controller board has failed. No big deal - I've got a buck converter I can use to run the lights directly off the battery. Still haven't ridden...

Thanks. Guess I'll have to go to work on the wiring...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Can anyone confirm their lights work in 0.16.0? Any suggestions as to why mine stopped working when I installed LCD3 and the 0.16 firmware?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hi all, Now that things have settled down in the development, I've flashed my LCD3 and TSDZ2 to version v0.16.0/No Throttle. I went through the config screens, and think I have things set up properly for my system (I have a 48v TSDZ2 8 wire, with LiFePo4 20ah battery). I haven't ridden it yet...

So if this a problem even on a casual ride, does this mean with temp sensor we will effectively be running at reduced power virtually all the time? Seems to me a pretty serious deficiency with the TSDZ2. Are there any modifications we could make to the motor to cool it during use?

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Cool! I assume you use some sort of Bluetooth device to transmit to the phone app? Is there any description somewhere of a suitable device, and how to hook it up?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hello all, I've been lurking here for a while, while obtaining all the gear necessary to install a TSDZ2 and LCD3, and program them with the open source firmware. Thanks for all the amazing efforts on this front! I've flashed the LCD3 with v0.12, and am about to flash the motor/controller...
