Thank you for answers. Yes i know they are not ideal. But they are dirt chip. I will use them only as battery charger. 6 poles 27 slots are balenced, but need some slots interleaved. Will have to test it still.

    Rewinding and reconfiguring hoverboard motor

Hello ! I am looking for starter/generator for my stirling engine in a 1000 rpm / 400-500 watt range. Since hoverboard motors are easy to obtain and have best power/buck ratio especially in used form - i tried to use them. But - if on starting and 500rpm range all is nice and fine, efficiency...

    greenworks old type 40v battery.

Thanks guy for reply. No, i am from europe. I had solve this problem in simply manner - use regulated switched mode converter from ebay. 1.2-36 volts and 8ampers. 12 amps protection. Vorks perfectly. I' am littly dissapointed on china cells. Are they any good on long run ? 7 amps are per cell...

    Electric Hydrofoil/E-Foil

There is not such a thing as really, strong. All should be calculated. I think this : https://i.imgur.com/nuUIxn0.png Or that one: https://i.imgur.com/oGleLAS.png But, yes, you cant do it with idle sprocket pulley on working side. And it is not so wide - ~22 mm...

    Electric Hydrofoil/E-Foil

If any one is thinking of angled gearbox, got some info from supplier - 10 gbp for set of bevel gears, 12/22 teeth and M1.5 module + you will need main 62020 bearing and 6001 on small end for main shaft, and two 627 on vertical shaft. + aluminium foundry and some machining. It will be happy...

You still need kind of prop saver to avoid any problems with debris /prop inbalance. Twin tapered bearing are bullet proof but bigger.

It is always possible to add aditional bearing for axial load. You will be making a new axle for seal, so make it with thrust bearing, and it will last. Additional 5-7 cm. They are rated with some safety factor. But not more thatn 2-3. Plus god lubraction and proper oil. Anyway. Found info on...

Sorry to be on sarcastic size. But 40 sised gearbox is good till 16-20 kg of thrust https://www.neugart.com/de-de/produkte/planetengetriebe-mit-abtriebswelle/ple/#PLE40 Any decent 2hp/1.5kw outboard gives you about 50 kg of thrust.. More on zero speed. Or 55lbs per hp.

    Electric Hydrofoil/E-Foil

First link is super. From my research v shaped foil is not the only option. And its limits wave sizes. Easies is bipLane configuration. Lift on two wings, cruise at one. I think we need someone to test how big motor or gearbox we could use for minimum penalties in performance. Or go to fishtail...

    Electric Hydrofoil/E-Foil

I had same ide few pages back. Just lok into 2-3 hp outbard leg and you will got almost all that you need as size guide. Not smaller.. As motor i have posted photo of 2.2 kw generator. Its working rpm is close to 3600. And its holds this power all time. Mast is main problem. It should be done...
