Is there any way to make the turbo mode (4/4 bars) the default at startup?
My bike is super heavy and I'm riding turbo mode most of the time anyways. The display always starts at tour mode (2/4 bars).
Just installed the latest fw from stancecoke git with my vlcd6. Now I’m having trouble understanding the on display configuration. Is there a more detailed guide than the manuals provided in the repository?
Right when I bought my TSDZ2 I flashed it with the OSFW and used it with a SW102 display.
With the later releases the OSFW worked fine, however I'd like to try the original one just to get a comparison. Also someone mentioned in another thread that the original FW offers slightly better...
Has anyone tried to go back to the stock motor firmware from the OpenSource one?
I found some stock FW files posted here:
https://www.eco-ebike.com/blogs/eco-cycles-instructionals/tsdz2-motor-firmware-programming
I have a stock VLCD5 which I would use. Should I expect any problems when flashing...
I'm currently designing a new electric fat bike and am looking into the Bafang G060 motor (also referred to as MG60) as an option for the drive unit. On their website there are 4 different version for the G060:
RM G060.250.DC (rated power 250 W)
RM G060.350.DC (rated power 350 W)
RM G060.500.DC...
Thanks for the quick update and fix for my problem casainho.
Just made my first ride on the 0.54.0 and 0.6.7 and it has been great!
One thing that came to my mind:
I read somewhere that there should be an option to configure a minimum torque level for the assistance to kick in from still...
Hi casainho, I just installed this update since I had been waiting for a fix for the configuration bug. However, with this update when I start the system in the lower part of the display it says "motor bloc" (blinking) and I cannot enter the configuration screen. With the previous version...
casainho, have you found out yet why the new fw for SW102 does not store settings? Currently I cannot use my bike because I installed the new motor and display fw before I found out about the issue. I have a lot of settings to configure after every start up (36v system)
So is it correct that the development for SW102 support is currently on hold?
Who was the main contributer? geeksvile?
He has not made a commit since early November and not posted here either. Did he mention somewhere that he has left the project?
Thanks casainho for the quick response and for all the work you've put into this project in general. Really appreciate it!
Could say a bit more on what exactly is going wrong when this error occurs? Maybe there is a discussion on that issue which I did not find?
Today I had a scary experience with the stable 0.19 FW and a SW102 display. While I was riding I noticed the motor was constantly giving assistance even though I was not pedaling. Display showed some error message (only thing I remember it had a file state.c in it). I tried to turn off the...
I'm thinking about doing a custom build of an electric moped after riding some electric scooters. I really enjoy the acceleration of these things.
The idea is to use a bicycle frame, remove the drive train and pedals and add a strong electric engine with a throttle only. Now since there will be...
I just did some first test rides on my TSDZ2 + SW102. Works great so far. However when I start pedaling from standing still I need around half a crank rotation until motor power kicks in. Is that normal? I thought the TSDZ2 would kick in immediatelly. Is there any setting I can use to influence...
I’m afraid so.. however it will be quite hard to return with the cut open side
It could also be that something went wrong during the first flash attempt. I remember it failed with some weird error message. Maybe it corrupted some part of the firmware?
Update:
I ordered a new SW102...
I just removed the soldered wires and tried with the solderless method using a 2mm 1x4 pin header. With that method I could not get a connection. Then I soldered the wires again and now I‘m seeing the same log output as in the screenshot I posted earlier.
It seems it does flash something and...
