Are there users reporting it is not working as it should? . From the functionality ability to shift under load looks benefitial even if the chain is 11speed. I do have personally Rohloff hub on my MTB hovewer i am missing shifting under load and i am planning to try it myself on the next build.

1. the chain is indeed wider on 8 speed cassetes, however you need to also look at the cassette build itself. There are cheap 8s 11-40T cassetes however those could be not very strong. I would suggest to search for something with common big spider for the biggest gears - 1st,2nd,3rd sometimes...

I have also noticed small resistance when free wheling with controller on on DD motor. When i switch off the controller then it dissapear. I think you can try to enable "pwm off @ idle" however from what i read somewhere in the thread you need to precisely measure the inductunce of the motor...

So what you say it should be 9pin cable, but this one is 10pin :unsure: . The thermistor is on separate wire to the possible torque signal. Or it should be torque and PAS combined? any simplest way to check the signal - oscilloscope? Or kind of UART decode circuit? Can you recomend something?
