What is the connector called for the two smaller wires? Would this be an Anderson connector? If so, are there any other specifications I should look for when ordering an adapter to come off a charger with an XT60 male?

    Batteries, What Do You Think?

Gotcha. I will get with him when the time comes then! I appreciate the information thus far though!

    First Build: Motobecane 29'r

Agreed. I have been a bicycle mechanic for a little over four years now at my local shop, starting as a chump and now the head honcho. I know how those bikes come out of the box and nothing is quite the way it should be. Just have a tune up and tell them its intended purpose and they will check...

    Batteries, What Do You Think?

Saw the ecospeeds. Smallest he had was 10Ah, would prefer the 15! When I wanted to wire in parallel I just take the black from one pack to the black of the other and same thing with the red wires. Does it matter that there are two individual BMS for each pack? What would one do to provide leads...

Chopped hardtail mtb - stealthy Mac build

Looks wonderful! Some black paint, like you said, and it'd be better than most of these big-brand production ones! I will stay tuned!

Awesome bike, good components too. Love the hardcore riders that go out rain/snow or shine! Where did you get your battery? Was that with Paul @ Emissions-free? Welcome to the forum, I too, like many, were sucked into the E-S vortex.

    Batteries, What Do You Think?

@wineboyrider That is nice to know, actually! I made a cardboard model of the dimensions he gave for his battery. I actually cut it to be slightly (5-10mm) larger in all dimensions and it seems like it would fit in the frame fine, albeit quite snug! Padding will go between the points where the...

    Batteries, What Do You Think?

I understand. Well, if it won't hurt anything having the upgraded BMS and Ping is able to supply me with the appropriate Anderson's then I will just leave it as is! At least I have a battery capable of drawing large amperages.

    Batteries, What Do You Think?

Would it do any harm to have it, or is it just an unnecessary feature? I did notice Ping didn't have information for how many amps his High Rate BMS can draw so I asked: "With high rate BMS, the maximum continuous discharge current will be 60amps. Of course, we don’t recommend discharge it at...
