Recently built a 10 series lion pack out of 18650 cells. 3 cells per cell group for a total of 30 cells. This is the info for the bms my problem is that when the battery is discharged down to 36 volts it cuts out. If I measure it with a voltmeter it will usually read something strange like 15...
So if I'm understanding correctly the main drawback of 4s is that you won't be able to fully charge it and the main drawback of 3s is that if the bms fails you will overcharge it and damage the battery/burn your house down?
