Open Source Arduino transmitter/receiver for (V)ESC

After cutting the PCB like in the picture of Nordel, will the buttons still work or just the potentiometer?

    5" or 6" pneumatic wheels.

That went well! Because the bearings I used are smaller (16mm height) I had to use spacers that have an outer diameter of 22mm and an inner diameter of 16mm. Got these 3D printed at low cost. Much bigger problem now: wheel-bite. I guess I will have to extend the cutaway and go dropthrough.

    5" or 6" pneumatic wheels.

Thanks for the advice an the offer! I'll see how it goes with the new bearings first. They were really cheap.

    5" or 6" pneumatic wheels.

Yeah these are expensive. I'll try the following: the Skike wheels align perfectly with the end of the axle. So I just need 4-5mm to put on the nut. I will replace the standard bearings, which are 7mm wide, with 4mm bearings. That should give me 6mm. We'll see whether the smaller bearings can...

Open Source Arduino transmitter/receiver for (V)ESC

Thanks for sharing Erwin! I thought that the wireless nunchuks had a way to turn them on and off with an integrated switch or something. I just ordered this one, maybe I'll get lucky: http://www.ebay.de/itm/131226794705?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Maybe we could...

Open Source Arduino transmitter/receiver for (V)ESC

I don't mind the soldering so much, but I wouldn't like to damage the nunchuck for the switch. Do you maybe have a picture of the switch to see how you fit it in there?

Open Source Arduino transmitter/receiver for (V)ESC

@erwincoumans Can you tell me how long the battery lasts on your Arduino transmitter side? Have you implemented sleep commands to save some battery?

    5" or 6" pneumatic wheels.

I've used the Skike 6'' wheels in a Onda-Setup and love the wheels. Unfortunately they do not fit the standard trucks because theres not enough room left to put the nut on. I was thinking of shortening the hanger by 5mm on each side. Some guy at Silverfish already did this...

    Improving the Nunchuk

Great hack mate! Would love to see how you go on with this. Are you using the original Nintendo Nunchuk? I thought it might be better to use a wireless knock-off because they already have a battery, charger and on/off switch included.

    Integrating Lipo Charger into E-Board

I'll consider that ProxRB! Would save some space and weight indeed.

    Integrating Lipo Charger into E-Board

Thanks for your input guys! The BMS would just be a replacement for the charger in the images, so the wiring would be the same right? The BMSs I found available in Germany are pretty expensive and seem to differ in the amount of cells they can take and the max A they can handle. Would 10A be...

    Integrating Lipo Charger into E-Board

Hey guys, for my second build I want to get things as convenient as possible. Therefor I would like to integrate a Lipo Balancer/Charger right into the board. Have you guys done this before? So here's what I plan to do: 1. Wire the two 3s in series, including balance leads like seen in the...
