I have the AntBMS and if for a configured time of does not detect current flow, it shuts down completely. The cheaper they are, the more likely they create problems. Still I would investigate further. Maybe you left some load on the battery. I doubt the BMS could use so much power to empty that...

Does the BMS allow discharge in this state ? Disconnect the BMS and check with the multimeter if you have a short between B- and C-. Check both ways ( b->c and c->b). If any of them has, remove the power board (the one with the 2 rows of MOSFETs) and check which row has the short. Most probably...

Sounds like one of the FETs shorted. Is enough one to fail. Strange though that both charge and discharge sets to fail. Unfortunately checking this implies removing all FETs and checking them one by one and if the control signal is good.
