Hi doc I know you are looking for a trike, but came across the Pedalcoupe a Quadcycle, the seat looks higher up then most trikes from the picture,s. And adding a front wheel Hubmotor looks to be the easier option on the Pedalcoupe or even 2 small motors. Just an idea anyway.Proberly need better...

The picture's i have posted where one's i got of the internet a few years ago.Can not find the website i found them on. Have you thought about GRPing your wooden frame for extra strength, depending on how many layers you would still see the wood. Just an idea anyway.

You could do something like this if you wanted to just use 2 hub motors.
