Bending the fork on purpose?

Carving, sure, but how about tight radius turns? Like a hard right angle? The skate trucks I’ve toyed with were limited to perhaps 15 degrees lean, and you have a far longer wheelbase to contend with than a skateboard or razor scooter.

I think you’ll need to do like Papa says, have the truck pivot. Or at least factor into the design the ability to easily implement the pivot if it proves necessary to do so, to save having to redesign and rebuild the rear end all over.

With the angle of the frame left as is the trucks can more easily pivot.

I ground off the dropouts and brake mounts, sanded it, put in a nicely fitted wood block, and carboned it.

With the wheelbase even shorter I’m probably going to end up bending the front of the frame to get a more relaxed headtube angle and also looking for a fork with no rake.

I’ll try it tomorrow. Im expecting it to be super twitchy.

Going to pot the battery and glue it to a stiff aluminum plate which will be the new standing platform

It was on the bucket list. I’ll still add motors and see how it goes but as it is now it’s fun but even less stable than before. No surprise
